afc maybe|This is a legitimate song, not a joke listing. In fact, the song was featured in the Blues Brothers movie, which is a favourite of mine. Therefore I ask for someone else to determine notability. SkierRMH 08:16, 11 December 2006 (UTC)}} Hold On, I'm Coming is a song written by Sam and Dave in 1965. It is a song inspired by Sam's anxiousness while Dave was trying to take a dump in their downtown Los Angeles apartment. Dave had eaten a large burrito prior to arriving back at Sam's apartment from a local and questionable mexican restaurant, and upon entering, had to use the restroom. Sam remembered that he had a doctor's appointment only a few minutes after entering his apartment and tried to get Dave to leave with him, yelling at him loudly in the middle of his restroom visit. Dave replied with the standard phrase that would become their greatest hit and ultimately be an anthem for all in the middle of taking a dump, "Hold On, I'm Coming."[reply]
